Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today, I thought it would be appropriate to make a list of 5 festive DIY things, whether it’s a craft or food and drinks.
Some of you may remember my nifty Comic Book Collage: Star Wars Edition post. In honor of Star Wars Day, I thought it would be fun to reminisce a DIY project I did in a galaxy far, far away– I mean a few months ago. This project is one of my favorites and it gave me an excuse to make a collage (which I love to do!). Read the rest of this entry
It’s been a while since I’ve posted something crafty, and so I thought I’d post an easy project that takes probably not even 10 minutes to make!

The sun is shining, flowers are blooming and the smell of fresh pollen in the air the could only mean one thing– spring is here! Here are some project ideas that are perfect for spring!
This DIY project idea is from the blog Home Stories A to Z. It’s creative and definitely a cute idea to do especially if you want to plant flowers this season.
If you want to plant flowers and you’re on a budget, a blog called Dos Family has the perfect project for you! Who knew tin cans could be any cooler!? This project looks simple and inexpensive. If you’ve always wanted a garden, but space is an issue, this could be a great solution!
This craft from the past project was super simple and inexpensive to make. I love taking photos of animals and I wanted to print out my photos and display them in my apartment. Rather than putting my photos in frames, I wanted to place them on a canvas.
I wanted to do an inexpensive DIY project today, and so I decided to decorate a mug. I have seen different ways to decorate ceramic mugs, and one idea I really liked showed a bunch of dots outlining a letter (like this). Instead of using an initial, I wanted to do something cool like an outline of a dinosaur. A few Google searches later, I stumbled upon the perfect silhouette of a tyrannosaurus rex (I found it here).
I have a college kid’s budget, so going to the mall can be kind of heartbreaking when you realize how much money you lack. I don’t get discouraged by this, it just means I have to find really good deals in order to seal the deal with buying something. When I went to Earthbound Trading Company at the Parks Mall a couple of months ago, I definitely didn’t leave empty handed or empty pocketed.
